Hakimi Hat-Trick Powers PSG’s 5–1 Comeback at Le Havre

A Hakimi hat-trick drove Paris Saint-Germain to a 5–1 win at Le Havre on Friday 30 October. The Ligue 1 Matchday 9 fixture took place at Stade CMA CGM Océane. The Moroccan defender scored three times after Josh Maja had put the home side ahead, with Mika Godts and Senny Mayulu completing the Paris scoring. It was a match in which the final margin tells only part of the story: PSG first had to reverse an early deficit.

  • Le Havre led before PSG turned the score around before half-time.
  • Hakimi scored in the 28th, 55th and 69th minutes.
  • The official match feed credits him with assists for Godts and Mayulu.
  • The figures in this report describe this match, not season totals.

The response came quickly after Le Havre’s opener

PSG’s official match centre records Maja’s opener after 18 minutes, followed by Godts’s equaliser after 26 and Hakimi’s first goal two minutes later. Paris therefore went into half-time 2–1 ahead. That turnaround is the first important stage in the result, before the second-half goals made the winning margin much larger.

For supporters catching up through highlights, the sequence is worth retaining. The game did not begin as a five-goal Paris procession. Le Havre created a lead that PSG had to answer, and the two quick replies changed the position before the interval. The later scoring happened with Paris already in front.

Three goals, with different moments in the match

The club’s dated post-match recap confirms the hat-trick, and beIN Sports’ report also identifies the three scoring moments. Hakimi’s second came from a direct free-kick after the break. His third completed the Paris scoring after Mayulu had made it 4–1. The timeline makes it easy to separate the comeback from the later extension of the lead.

Goal sequence, Le Havre–PSG, 30 October 2026
Minute Scorer Score
18 Maja 1–0
26 Godts 1–1
28 Hakimi 1–2
55 Hakimi 1–3
62 Mayulu 1–4
69 Hakimi 1–5

The official feed also records two assists

Hakimi’s involvement extended to supplying teammates. PSG’s event feed credits him with the pass for Godts’s equaliser and the through ball for Mayulu’s second-half goal. That gives him three goals and two assists within this fixture. These are the match-specific credits used here; we have not combined them with figures from a different competition or an earlier season.

Our analysis is that the supplying actions make the performance especially interesting. A scoring run ends with a finish, but a pass asks a teammate to complete the next part. Moving between those roles can make an attack harder to track. The match record shows Hakimi contributing at both ends of the exchange, with Godts and Mayulu providing the finishes on the assisted goals.

What the score explains, and what it leaves open

A hat-trick is the obvious headline, yet a full-back’s performance also includes choices away from the penalty area. When to advance, how teammates cover the space and what happens after possession is lost all remain part of the role. The attacking return is exceptional evidence from this night; it should encourage a fuller reading of the team rather than replace one.

For a practical viewing exercise, follow the player who gives Hakimi a passing option, then the next movement after he releases the ball. The headline credits tell us who scored and assisted. Looking at the surrounding exchanges helps explain how a team makes those moments possible, while avoiding an individual rating based only on one spectacular total.

Our Ligue 1 page covers fixtures and standings. The earlier Hakimi profile discusses his wider role, while our PSG–Barcelona report provides a separate European reference. This Le Havre result is its own new chapter.
