November’s AFC Champions League Elite programme offers a change of football rhythm for viewers used to European evenings. The calendar has two club windows, with the first immediately after October’s games and the second later in the month. One fixture with a clear club announcement is Buriram United against Kashima Antlers on 4 November. It makes a useful starting point for following the competition more closely.
The November calendar at a glance
The AFC competition calendar dated 29 April 2026 marks matchday four across 2–4 November and matchday five across 23–25 November. The East and West programmes do not use identical days. Treat the windows as a planning overview, then use the specific club or organiser notice to confirm a fixture’s time and stadium.
| Round | West | East |
|---|---|---|
| Matchday 4 | 2–3 November | 3–4 November |
| Matchday 5 | 23–24 November | 24–25 November |
A broad calendar is useful for reserving time; it is less suitable for deciding when to leave for a stadium. Before a match, compare it with the latest individual announcement. A revised venue or kick-off can appear in a club notice without changing the overall matchday window.
Buriram–Kashima: the confirmed starting point
Kashima Antlers’ visiting-supporter information lists the away match against Buriram United on Wednesday 4 November, with kick-off at 19:15 local time at Buriram Stadium in Thailand. The notice explicitly identifies it as matchday four of the 2026/27 AFC Champions League Elite. That gives readers a concrete fixture rather than an inferred pairing from an old schedule.
Keep the local-time label attached to that 19:15. A saved reminder that silently uses your device’s timezone can put the game in the wrong part of the day. If watching from Morocco or elsewhere in Europe or Africa, use a calendar with timezone conversion and verify the displayed date as well as the hour.
A viewing question: what happens after the first press?
Our suggested lens for Buriram–Kashima is the space that appears when the first line of pressure is beaten. Follow the player receiving the next pass: can that player turn, or is the ball forced back? The answer often explains why a team has plenty of possession but produces few clean entries into the penalty area.
A second useful detail is the position of the far-side winger. When play gathers on one flank, a player holding width on the opposite side can stretch the defence without touching the ball. Watch whether the switch arrives early enough to exploit that space. This is a framework for observing the game, not a prediction about either coach’s selection.
Follow the same club across both windows
A single match can leave a strong but incomplete impression. Following one club through the early and late November rounds lets you compare how it responds to a different opponent and setting. Note three things after the first game: where the team lost the ball, how it defended wide areas, and whether substitutions changed its ability to keep possession.
Return to those notes before the next fixture instead of relying on the previous score alone. A win can hide repeated defensive problems; a defeat can include a promising change in how the team progresses the ball. Our analysis asks those questions without inventing a form trend or announcing players whose availability has not been confirmed.
Keep club and national-team calendars separate
Asian club football and the Asian Cup are different competitions. The November club rounds discussed here should not be confused with January’s national-team tournament in Saudi Arabia. Our Asian Cup 2027 guide explains that separate event and its published opening fixture.

This guide does not make a territory-wide broadcast claim or assume that every match is covered by the same service.
